Rally-Driver.com: Donor Card Grand Turismo moves to July date Donor Card Grand Turismo moves to July date ================================================================================ Elton on 11 July, 2007 12:00:00 The sixth 'Donor Card Grand Turismo' scenic tour will run on Sunday 29 July, 2007, offering crews a route of around 100 miles in three legs, based at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon. Organised by the Historic Rally Car Register and Continental Car Tours, the non-competitive tour will again be run to raise awareness of the need for people to carry donor cards as well as raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. In its five years to date, the Donor Card GT has raised over £25,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and many entrants now carry donor cards. Now, the event is moving to a mid-summer date. The scenic tour will take in around 100 miles of quiet country lanes, and is open to cars of all ages and participants do not need competition licences, any club membership or any previous experience. The tour will start and finish at Gaydon, and will include driving tests at the Heritage Motor Centre. The entry fee is £85 and includes entrance to the Heritage Museum.
