Cars for sale section at HRCR Open Day
The outside area will be home to any pre '81 rally cars for sale, from full-spec special stage rally cars to those suitable for regularity rallies and scenic tours. Cars from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s are expected and it will cost nothing to display a car for HRCR members and non-members alike.
The only requirement is that those seeking to display cars for sale must pre-register by sending an e-mail to Simon Marks at: classicchallenge@hrcr.co.uk
"We hope that this will be a popular new feature of the Open Day," said an HRCR spokesman. "This is a great chance to show cars to the perfect target audience."
The 2007 HRCR Open Day will be bigger and better than the hugely successful 2006 event, with more exhibition space, more specialist traders and event organisers.
The Open Day, which is free of charge to members and non-members alike, will showcase the comprehensive 2007 HRCR programme. The day will start at 9.30am and run until 4.30pm, and non-members are most welcome to take a closer look at the HRCR and its activities.
The Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon is just off junction 12 of the M40 near Warwick. The on-site café will be serving lunch from 12 noon until 2pm.
