YOU can win some fabulous footie prizes - and watch Britain’s top rally stars - at Pickering showground on Saturday (7th October 2006).

A special penalty shootout competition will be held inside the Northern Events Arena - and EVERYONE wins a prize!

The shootout is being organised by the SG Petch Scalextric Rally Team to celebrate England’s Euro 2008 qualifier against Macedonia on the same day. The rally team has been supporting the Three Lions all year with a special ‘Come On England’ paint job on its two cars, including a huge St George’s cross design.

Drivers Stephen Petch/Michael Wilkinson and Rob Gill/Anders Howard even wear replica England kit racesuits!

Everyone who enters the £1 penalty shootout will receive a special England supporters’ pack containing a car flag, mini football, two inflatable boomers, balloons and stickers.

Score three goals and win a size 5 England football! Profits will go to local charities.

But that’s not all.

Visitors can try out the latest Scalextric sets - with the chance to win some super Scalextric prizes every hour.

There’ll be a display of new cars from SG Petch. And Pirelli are bringing their awesome rally simulator.

Pickering Showground is the rally HQ and service area for Trackrod Rally Yorkshire, the penultimate round of the Tesco 99 Octane British Rally Championship.
