Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship

A routine end of season engine eligibility check within the 2006 Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship has been completed and the BDA engine used in the Ford Escort MK1 of David Stokes has been confirmed as fully complying with championship regulations.

Series eligibility scrutineer Paul Loveridge sealed the engine on the final round of the season, the Somerset Historic Stages, and has subsequently completed a comprehensive check of the engine. Among the items checked were bore and stroke, valve sizes and crankshaft main bearing caps.

All measurements were found to comply with the regulations and so the final championship results are now confirmed as previously published.
