Marshals Needed - No Experience Required!

North Humberside Forest Rally

"Dear All,

I am writing to request assistance in running the Langdale North stage on this year's North Humberside Forest rally.

The event is running on Saturday 28th February 2009 (three weeks time), and I have been asked to run this 7.59 mile stage, which runs twice.

Signing on is at the Northern end of the stage, on Map 94 at 888 022, entering via the B1416 at 893 046. You can also use Explorer Map OL27. For those of you who helped last year, it is at the same place. Signing on will be from 8:20am to 8:50am, with the first car at 10:20am. These times are provisional for the moment, but are not expected to change much. The second stage is due to start almost immediately after the first has finished, at around 2:08pm.

I need enough marshals to fill over 30 locations, so anyone who can come along would be very welcome. Note that you do NOT need to be a registered marshal, anyone can turn up and will be made very welcome. Inexperienced marshals will be located with more experienced people wherever possible. I would also be pleased to hear from anyone who'd like to run either the start or finish time controls, and also from any radio marshals.
