Half Day Forest Rally Tuition

Drive a Ford Cosworth and experience a 310 bhp Subaru Impreza rally car

There’s nothing quite like watching (or hearing!) a full-on 300bhp stage prepared rally car emerging from a forest rally stage. The only thing better would be to be behind the wheel yourself, and this fantastic half day session of forest rally tuition will do just that!

Your half day experience will teach you the same skills and techniques used by the worlds top rally drivers. Top class instructors will teach you a driving style unlike anything you have ever experienced before on the roads, in this sure fire fun packed driving experience.

The course begins with basic techniques and skills such as steering control and racing lines, progressing to advanced techniques such as the Scandinavian flick, powerslides and braking control to name but a few. Your first session will be an open field practice in a Ford Escort and you will then progress to driving a Ford Cosworth around our purpose built rally track through the forest.

The course climaxes with the driver and instructor swapping seats for a jaw dropping high speed passenger ride, where you will feel the acceleration and severe braking force of a 310 bhp Subaru Impreza Rally car.

This experience is available on selected Saturdays, throughout the year at the Bristol – Redhill track location. Your activity will last approximately 4 hours.

The minimum age for this experience is 17 years old. The minimum height for this activity is 1.57m (5'2) and the maximum height is 2m (6'7). The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone) and the instructors decision is final. A full valid UK or European manual driving licence is required. You will need to present it on the day, photocopies will not be accepted.

Tuition is on a one-to-one basis, however there will be up to 12 participants on the day.

Although a little more expensive then some of the other rally day experiences, this one is worth the extra as it’s geared to really improve you driving skills for your own future benefit, not just a case of having a couple of minutes behind the wheel and going home.
