There’s just something about the flat-four burble of a Subaru Impreza that can’t be beaten; it’s not just the noise, it’s everything the iconic car stands for; power, performance, unbelievable acceleration, grip and handling… just some of the attributes that made the car a world leader on the World Rally Championship for over a decade in the hands of Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz, Richard Burns, Tommi Makinen and Petter Solberg.

This fantastic Subaru drive experience allows you to feel the speed yourself and get behind the wheel of a fully tuned track car. You will then get a short safety briefing in the car before being let loose in one of the fastest production saloon cars in the world; when you pull away the first thing that you will notice is how fast you have to go through the gears to keep up with the acceleration. As you approach the first chicane it's time to test the brakes which are equally impressive. Time after time around the track it's flat out acceleration followed by awesome stopping power. Even though you are driving one of the most powerful production cars in the world you will be amazed at how easy it is to drive on the limit!

The session will start with a welcome, introduction and short briefing in the car on the circuit and driving techniques. You will experience a session driving a Subaru Impreza, followed by a flat-out white-knuckle passenger ride with an instructor driving. The experience ends with a de-briefing session in which you get a driver analysis form completed by your instructor and a certificate.

At some locations there is an indemnity registration form that is completed on the day of the experience, a term states that the driver may be liable up to the first £2000 for any damage caused whilst they are driving. Some drivers may want to reduce this risk and pay for an indemnity up front. This means that as long as they are not driving recklessly and following the direction of the instructor, they will not be liable for this amount. The optional indemnity costs between £25 - £30 if purchased on the day. Please check on booking.

This experience takes place on selected weekdays and weekends, from March to November at one of the following locations; Leicestershire - Bruntingthorpe, North Yorkshire - Elvington, North Yorkshire - Elvington, Oxfordshire - Heyford Park, Staffordshire - Stafford, Surrey - Chertsey, Tyne and Wear - Middlesborough, Warwickshire - Kennilworth.

You will need to allow approximately 1 to 2 hours at the venue, depending on the location. The minimum age for this activity is 18 years old. The minimum height is 1.52m (5'). You must be under 1.98m (6'6) and weigh less than 117.5kg (18½ stone). This may not suitable for those who suffer from epilepsy or any physical disability. If in doubt please consult your doctor. You must hold a full manual UK or European driving licence in order to participate.

You will be in a group of 3-4 participants and are welcome to bring spectators along to watch your driving action.
