Vic Preston Jr was a Kenyan born Safari Rally specialist whose services were called upon by many of the works teams during the seventies and eighties. With expert knowledge of the Safari Rally he gained many notable finishes with Ford, Lancia, Mercedes and Porsche.

This distinctive red and white liveried Ford Escort 1600 Twin Cam depicts his 1971 East African Safari Rally car, co driven by Bev Smith.

In 1:43 scale the car measures approximately 9cm long and is made by Trofeu. It features working wheels and is priced £22.01 at the time of publishing.
