This classic diecast model Ford Escort MkII commemorates the 1000 Lakes Rally in 1976 and is liveried in white with working steering, suspension and wheels. The car also has an opening bonnet with a detailed engine bay, and has an opening boot and doors.

The 1976 1000 Lakes Rally in Finland saw the Escorts of Pentti Airikkala and Timo Makinen coming home in 2nd and 4th respectively, with a retirement for Ari Vatanen.

The car is in 1:18 scale and measures approx. 22cm long. Made by Sun Star this is a limited edition of 1500 pieces worldwide, priced £51.99 at time of publishing.
