Few partnerships between car and driver are as iconic as that of Paddy Hopkirk and the Mini Cooper S. The Belfast born rally specialist’s most notable win was that of the Monte Carlo in 1964, co-driven by Henry Liddon, in the red Mini Cooper S registration ‘33 EJB’.

For those inspired by the real life fully restored original, displayed at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, this diecast model offers an incredibly accurate representation of Hopkirk’s Monte Carlo Rally Winner, finished in its bright red works livery.

The model features working steering, suspension and wheels, and also has an opening bonnet with engine bay, along with opening boot and doors. Made by Kyosho in 1:18 scale, the model measures approximately 21cm long, priced £79.99 at the time of publishing.
