This highly detailed diecast model depicts the SJW 540S registration Triumph TR7 driven by Tony Pond and Fred Gallagher on the 1978 RAC Rally. The works prepared car features its full red livery and has working wheels.

In the hands of Tony Pond the car had a successful year of competition winning the Ypres 24 Hours Rally and the Manx Trophy Rally, before finishing 4th overall on the 1978 RAC.

This car is a stunning replica of the real car now displayed in the Gaydon Motor Museum. Made by Vanguards in 1:43 scale measuring approximately 9cm long.
